The cartagenero artist Christopher Hernandez Barbero Ãnsula exhibited his work in the exhibition hall of the Byzantine Wall.
The inauguration held yesterday afternoon attended by the Councillor for Culture, David Martinez.
Insula, will remain open until 15 May from Tuesday to Friday between 10-14 hours and 17-20 hours;
and on Saturdays and Sundays 11-14 hours.
According to the author, this work becomes a focus for the experience and body presentation is essence of the absent, events of the emerging states of consciousness, invisible on the outside, being covered by these plastered structures.
Insula, as necessary state, processes information gathered to cause a context of emotional mediation to sensory experiences, looking for similarities between emotions and feelings.
The context, the Byzantine walls, houses the remains of the portico of the Roman Theater, and presents and wrap the sculptural pieces shown, as these entities are also portico, fragments of private archeology of an original door, revealing their physical contact, to speak truth.
Christopher Hernandez was born in Cartagena in 1981. He graduated in Fine Arts from the School of Murcia and PhD in Fine Arts from the same university.
He has won several awards including last year's Sculpture, Bust Homage to José Loustau Award, Campus de la Merced, Murcia.
