To mark the fourth centenary of the death of Miguel de Cervantes, from the City of Cartagena has created an extensive program of events, talks and activities around the author, his life and his work.
In addition, the School of Hospitality and Tourism Cartagena wanted to join this tribute preparing a menu carefully, under the name of Cervantes food, he had inspired the author of Don Quixote dishes as well as several foods that name the gentleman from La Mancha at the beginning of this book.
On Tuesday 19 the mayor of Cartagena, Jose Lopez, and the councilor of the Culture and Archaeological Heritage, Ricardo Segado, attended the training center to sample this menu included cream of garlic soup, Olomo toledana trout roasted rabbit, among others delicacies that reminded the cervantino environment.
The event was also attended by Carmen Berrocal, local coordinator of Archaeological Heritage, and many people interested in trying this food because it was an open public event in which both authorities and participants in general their menu is coasting, carefully crafted by very professional students of the School.
