The Committee on Industry, Labour, Tourism and Trade has supported a motion by deputy of the Socialist Group, Antonio Guillamón, requesting the Declaration of International Tourist Interest Parties to the Carthaginians and Romans.
Guillamón explained that, knowing that it will start processing the file for the application for a declaration of International Tourist Interest in the Festival of Carthaginians and Romans, the Socialist parliamentary group seemed very important to have the support of the Regional Assembly, as it has happened with other similar events like Carnival of Eagles, the Vera Cruz de Caravaca or Easter of Cartagena, making it filed a motion in this regard.
Socialist MP said that "today we have helped to bring the level that corresponds to the international level, a festival which enjoy very good health and have a huge share of Cartagena, year after year, recall the days when the old Cartagena was founded by the Carthaginian Hasdrubal and conquered by the Roman Scipio ".
Socialist Parliamentary Group wishes to congratulate the Federation troops and legions for their work and the fact "that each year we see more consolidated a festival born in 1990 and have penetrated in an extraordinary way in Cartagena, to become what they are today. "
