Next week (from 18 to 24 April) will be held the cultural week of the Brotherhood of San Ginés de la Jara, commemorating the ninth anniversary of the Refoundation of the Brotherhood and the 99th anniversary of the foundation.
cultural, solidarity, sport and religious ceremonies will complete the roster of acts that form this week commemorating the pattern is Cartagena since 1677, and wherein further this year celebrates the 475th anniversary of his canonization.
One of the events that have recovered this year are the Literary Fair in honor of San Ginés de la Jara, and thanks to the Polytechnic University, the City of Cartagena and other cartageneras organizations, fetch this event originated in 1969.
Highlight the twinning with the Brotherhood of Christ of the fishermen of Cabo de Palos and the Association of the Christ of Mercy of the California Brotherhood, the appointment of Brother of Honor of D. Manuel Martínez Guillén and the Cofrade of Honor of the Sisters of the poor, and the various musical performances on different days of the week.
