"All hard work pays off."
So Pleased graduate shown in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT), Juan Domingo Gonzalez, who this afternoon will receive at the College of Industrial Engineers of the Region of Murcia a prize of national character for work on ventilation in photovoltaic solar panels.
Technical Industrial Foundation has awarded Gonzalez, who now attends the UPCT the Masters in Industrial Engineering, for his Final Project (TFG) with which has managed to heat a stream of air to a cooling system takes advantage of the time photovoltaic panels and improves system efficiency.
The research was carried out in an installation of solar panels on the terrace of the campus classroom building 2 Alfonso XIII.
González explains that when finished the degree decided colegiarse and present their TFG to contest that had convened the Technical Industrial Foundation and an award which is given to each of the four specialties in Industrial Engineering.
The study's findings has exhibited at the congress of engineering thermodynamics, which took place in June at the UPCT, and one that was held in Naples in October last year.
"I have a feeling of joy that work so hard and it takes a lot of stress is rewarded," said the young man, who has earned 600 euros to spend on courses and other workshops offered at the College of Industrial Engineers the region.
Gonzalez, who already won the special award of the Degree in Electrical Engineering, is grateful for the collaboration of Jordi Montoliu, who helped with the installation of the panels, and the help they have given throughout the processes directors of TFG, Antonio Viedma and Kaiser.
