One hundred students from institutes of Murcia, Lorca, Jumilla and Abarán visit this Friday Agrifood Tomas Ferro Experimental Station, the property that the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) has in La Palma.
Students will learn about the recovery program of the Murcian hen develop researchers from the School of Agronomists;
you will see how a vertical garden is done, they know the water cycle in agriculture and characterization of legume seeds.
This year will visit the farm two hundred students from eight secondary schools in the region.
Visitors are students of Secondary Education of the Region of Murcia participating in the X edition of Agrifood Itineraries Teachers, UPCT organized in collaboration with the General Directorate of Educational Quality, Innovation and Attention to Diversity.
The itineraries will begin tomorrow Teachers Agrifood and end the next day 15. The aim is to encourage agricultural engineering studies among students of Secondary Education of the Region of Murcia.
