From 11 to 17 April, the Association of Residents of Barrio de la Concepción will host a new edition of Amateur Theatre Festival Isidoro Maiquez where companies and theater groups will perform different works.
Organized by theAssociation Cultural del Barrio de la Concepción, with the collaboration of the Department of Equality of the City of Cartagena, provide inputs to 2 euros with limited capacity.
The basis for the participants were presented last January, where the organizers of the event on behalf of the theater group Algameca indicated participation for the contest of amateur groups and non-professional, with works of the genre comedy as preferred, whether original or adaptations.
Within the program, on Friday April 15 will take place on Solidarity Day, in which food and children's products, such as milk, biscuits, baby food or diapers, will be collected to be allocated to the Cradle of Cartagena and Casa of the Child.
The closing ceremony will take place on Sunday April 17th, at 20:00, to be attended by the Councillor for Culture, David Martinez.
With the closure will proceed to the awards ceremony, counting this year's event with the special audience award for best group, also counting trophies for best actress, actor, actress, supporting actor, direction and staging.
