Talk with Children, art and overcoming pain in Gustav Mahler.
Norma forgotten piano begins Thursday Sturniolo the second edition of Read, Think, Imagine, bringing through a series of questions, quickly and intensely, Mahler's childhood experiences.
At 20:00 pm on Thursday April 7, the Adult Library Cultural Center Ramón Alonso Luzzy start the first of the 32 free events to be held within the program of this quarter, organized by the Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena, in collaboration with various municipal areas such as libraries, Equality and Social Services, and various associations and groups in the municipality.
Zoraida Martinez Alcaraz, professor of piano Conservatory of Music in Cartagena, and bibliotecariaCarmen Rodal, will talk with Norma Sturniolo about this work.
The author in his foreword lists these questions: How was your childhood?
How was the society in which he lived?
Who were your parents, your family, your friends?
Who helped him develop his creative work and who put obstacles?
Who were your friends?
What artists influenced him?
According to the author of Buenos Aires, this book is not an essay or biography.
The writing of it started as a game or maybe had to do with a feeling of gratitude.
The remote origin is in listening to the compositions of Gustav Mahler, on the back reading books on Mahler creation and especially the passionate reading biographies about the composer.
Norma was born in Buenos Aires Sturniolo but living in Spain for a long time.
Degree in Philology, has been editor and project director of children's books and has worked and continues to work in different media.
