The regular full of the neighborhood Perín, held last Friday under the chairmanship of Juan Agüera (MC), approved with votes in favor of MC and PSOE and the abstention of PP, C's and Cartagena Si Se Puede, the motions urgently urging the General Directorate of Roads of the CARM to the creation of two roundabouts at the points of greatest risk of accident deputation.
Spokesmen for PSOE and MC Jose Andreu and Maria Jose Montoro, respectively, were responsible for presenting the full motions for debate and approval.
Meanwhile, representatives of PP, C's and Cartagena Si Se Puede, in addition to abstain in the vote, decried the urgency of both motions.
Both MC and PSOE considered vital construction of a roundabout on the N-332, at the height of new housing blocks, to replace the current average roundabouts, where many accidents have occurred, some with fatalities .
Also the urgent creation of a second roundabout on the RM-E21y 22 road, at the junction linking Galifa and Portus, to eliminate or reduce the risk of accidents, and a sidewalk or bike path to facilitate pedestrian access to the many passersby transiting this area, to the viewpoint of the cost of Galifa.
