Yesterday, the Official Gazette of the Region (BORM) published the entry into force, on this day, the law obliges the CARM to put the necessary means to facilitate the full functioning of Hospital Santa María del Rosell de Cartagena as General Hospital in Health area II with all the usual features, including emergency services, intensive care unit, hospital wards, laboratory, diagnostic tests, general services and those specialized to ensure a compatible offer a quality health service.
In addition, Law 3/2016, of March 21, provides that, within three months from the adoption of the law, the Ministry of Health will have to submit, prior agreement on the Health Council, the organization of services hospitals in St. Lucia and Santa Maria del Rosell, as set out in the only article of the standard.
MC welcomes the entry into force of the law, while congratulating the people of Cartagena and Shire, the beneficiaries of a law that will have to remedy the serious shortcomings in terms of hospital health care have been suffering so far.
Because they are to them, the residents of the District of Cartagena who should be aiming this achievement, for without their struggle and fighting spirit would never have been possible to reach this point.
