During the Easter is expected a great mobility of traffic, and one of the days when the number of people leaving the street is emphasized is the night of Thursday to Friday, ie from 24 to 25 March.
For this reason, and to provide more security for citizens, the Local Police of the City of Cartagena has prepared a special device breathalyser tests and drugs for that night of the procession of Silence and the Holy Christ of the Miners.
These controls will start at 23:00 and will last throughout the night in different parts of the city, in order to prevent the behavior of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs and to raise public awareness that these substances are harmful both I for them as for other road users.
