Good Friday Easter led to Alum with an act of honor to the Virgin of Charity.
The local residents celebrated their big day taking in procession to the image in a ceremony that was attended by Legion, with goat included.
Sharing their customs and traditions, they attended the parade Deputy Mayor, Ana Belén Castejon, Councilman Celebration, Juan Pedro Torralba, Councillor for Public Safety, Francisco Aznar, the Councillor for Tourism, Obdulia Gomez and councilman of Culture, David Martinez besides the mayor of La Union, Pedro Lopez.
This parade, which procesionó first the Captive Christ, came at 21:00 of the Plaza de la Iglesia, through the main streets of the town as Duke Street, Gloria, Pelayo, Malecon, Canalejas, Working, Season, North and Mayor, returning to the Church.
Torralba, natural alums, shouldered his Virgin, a work by José Lozano Rock in 1951, which reached the alumbreña town in 2000 after being missing in the village church of tailings, leaving in procession a year later.
The events of Holy Week Alum culminate today, March 21 with a penitential Via Crucis through the streets of the village.
