The beautiful natural landscape that runs between the coastal towns of La Azohía and Isla Plana will be the venue for which will run the sixth edition of the popular race of the western area, on 26 March, coinciding with the feast of Holy Saturday.
About 200 runners will participate in this sporting event which will travel a distance of 10 kilometers along a nature trail overlooking the sea.
The Councillor for Sports, Ricardo Segado;
accompanied by the president of the neighborhood association, Luis Lorenzo;
as well as the treasurer of it, Pepi Agüera;
They have been responsible for presenting the details of this race today, Monday, March 21, in the press room of the Town Hall.
The popular race will start at 10:30 am for children's publishing and 11:00 hours editing adults, departing from the church of La Azohía, reaching Isla Plana, where an aid station will be established and will monitor computer, and returning to the same place of departure.
The sporting event organized by the neighborhood association of La Azohía with the collaboration of the Department of Sports and Athletics Federation of Murcia, will be supported by staff of the neighborhood association of La Azohía, Local Police ;
as well as technicians from the Department of Sports to ensure the smooth running of the race.
Ricardo Segado stressed the importance of this race as a continuation of the Half Marathon and at the same time, has invited runners to enjoy this event in addition to the annual sporting calendar and the tourist image of Cartagena.
Meanwhile, the president of the neighborhood association, Luis Lorenzo, stressed that limiting the number of participants to avoid crushes two hundred during the race and is already closed the registration period.
In addition, to finish, he stressed that it coincides with the celebration of Holy Saturday is counted with the presence of runners from other parts of Spain.
