The area councilor of Culture and Archaeological Heritage, Ricardo Segado, held a working meeting with the heads of the section of Heritage, History and Culture of the Youths of MC (JMC), Alejandro Arenas and Adrian Vidal Tuesday.
In this regard, representatives of the youth of the mayor MC raised various proposals aimed at enhancing the tourism sector, and enable more bilingual explanatory plaques on monuments of interest.
It entroncado with the aim of recovery, reintegration and restoration of different assets and liabilities of Cartagena, which in some cases are out of our city, treated about recovery and reintegration of the Altar of Health (whose current location is the Museum of Archaeology Catalonia);
recover, if possible, the Gothic altarpiece of Old Cathedral located at the National Archaeological Museum in Madrid (MAN) and start the restoration of the park azulejado Trovero Marin Avenue.
Similarly, Arenas and the councilman Vidal proposed incorporating the name Isaac Peral in the labeling of the Calle Mayor, addressing two possibilities: nominate "Isaac Peral Calle Mayor" or "Mayor-Isaac Peral Street".
Finally, the proposal of the Youths of MC for the dissemination of heritage and cultural legacy of Cartagena through the Internet is treated, publishing snapshots of archaeological, architectural and artistic monuments by the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY -SA 4.0), which would facilitate their accommodation in the Wikimedia Commons digital repository.
This initiative also would consider an invitation to the participation of citizens of Cartagena.
This meeting is part of the interest of Youths of MC to collaborate in the construction of a municipality to recover the splendor that, according to its heritage and history, deserves, after two decades of stagnation and submission to interests that little or nothing, they have to do with the good of Cartagena and Cartagena.
