Tuesday March 15 ended the second round of performances of the contestants in the form Woodwinds Competition between strings and brass, organized by the Conservatory of Music in Cartagena and the Youth Council of the City of Cartagena, having had to take by high participation in this specialty semifinal in two days, 14 and 15 March.
In this second round, students from various conservatories in the region, specifically Cartagena, Murcia, Cieza, Caravaca, Lorca and Jumilla, did enjoy the large audience.
The Jury of this type composed of Mariano Bas Garcia, Delia Nerea Bastida Paterna, Maria Rocio Campos Torres, Rocío Martínez Ayala and Alfonso Martinez Vicente, had very complicated both by the amount of participantescomo for quality in their interpretations decision of who should move to the next stage.
They finally decided that the eleven finalists woodwinds of the nineteenth edition of between strings and brass were:

David Miñano Jesus Carrasco: Saxophone Conservatory Murcia
David Murcia Gómez: Oboe, Murcia Conservatory
Nicolas Redondo Gonzalo Gómez: Saxophone, Cartagena Conservatory
Agustin Sanchez Rubio: Flute, Murcia Conservatory
Serrano Catalina Espín: Flute, Caravaca Conservatory
Albert Alvaro Canales: Fagot, Murcia Conservatory
Adrian José Carreto Crespo: Saxophone, Cartagena Conservatory
The final where these contestants will be responsible for the different prizes dispute, will take place during Eldia April 4, at 18.00 pm in the Auditorium of the Conservatory of Music in Cartagena.
The failure in all forms will be made public on May 6, at 20.00 hours at the closing ceremony to be held in the Auditorium of the Batel.
This afternoon, Wednesday, March 16, will continue the competition phase with the semifinals Brass in two parts, one at 16.00 pm and another at 18.30.
Thursday will be the turn of stringed instruments and begin hearing the registered competitors in this mode at 17.00 hours.
All these auditions will be held in the Auditorium of the Conservatory of Music in Cartagena, being free entrance until full capacity.
