The Association of Naturalists Sureste (ANSE) has sent a letter to the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of the City of Cartagena with 5 proposals to prevent construction in the future of 10,000 homes in the south of the Mar Menor, within the Project Novo Carthago.
ANSE shows in its surprise that the current municipal government will help in one way or another to this urban nonsense continue its processing, contributing to the construction of between 8,000 and 10,000 homes in Mar Menor and excessively urbanized.
The Association believes that it is not true that the City is required to continue with the proceedings, and there are other options to prevent the consolidation of an urban occupation that should never be approved.
These are some of the actions that are proposed to avoid ANSE urban silting south of the Mar Menor:
1. Remove the appeal against the judgment of the Supreme Court annulling the Municipal General Plan of Cartagena, restarting the processing thereof to recover the classification of agricultural land south of the Mar Menor as "No Protection Urbanizables Mar Menor" including Novo Carthago.
2. in person in court proceedings investigating possible crimes of senior officials of the Autonomous Community and the City of Cartagena in the requalification of Cartagena PGOU 113 (Novo Carthago) to achieve a judgment annulling requalification and return soil protection the requalified area, debugged responsibilities that may exist at the level of politicians mainly responsible.
3. To transmit to the company Hansa Urbana its refusal to process any procedure to advance the adoption of the Draft Construction of Novo Carthago, and use all legal instruments at its disposal to prevent it.
4. Be interested to Cartagena courts that handle different procedures garnishee company HANSA initiative of Banco Santander and others, in order to ascertain the financial solvency of the company and its debts.
5. Ask the legal and administrative support of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia to find the best way to proceed with the cancellation of 113 soil requalification PGOU in San Ginés de la Jara (Novo Carthago), avoiding negative economic consequences for both administrations and citizens.
No offense or create confrontations, ANSE believes that the arguments put forward by the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of the City of Cartagena on this subject in the press releases are excuses, the same that have been used to allow further processing Plans Cala Reona and partial Huerta Calesa, which would end the urban siege on the Regional Park Calblanque, Mount of Ashes and Rock of the Eagle.
Unfortunately, ANSE sees no difference on these issues regarding what was done from previous corporations.
Excuse in the law to continue to allow unnecessary urban development does not change anything, when you can help the laws to the contrary.
