The Department of Social Services is the organizer of courses Letters to the Image and Popular Traditions, which are attended by many people over Cartagena.
On Friday March 4, a total of 75 of these higher paid a visit to the Basilica of Our Lady of Charity in a tour in which they were guided by two lecturers.
On the one hand, Ginés Garrido Fernández, member of the Board of Governors of Santo and Real Hospital of Charity, writer and curator of protocol Marraja Brotherhood, who explained the history of the Basilica and the Hospital de La Caridad.
Meanwhile, Ernesto Ruiz Vinader, writer and closely linked to the Association of La Piedad, toured the different chapels, and told them all the details and related anecdotes.
The students were very grateful to have these two experts so tied to the Easter of Cartagena.
