The Department of Finance of the City of Cartagena reports that from February 1, is to collect the Vehicle Tax (IVTM), ending March 31, the deadline for voluntary payment thereof.

Remember that among the measures to reduce the tax burden on residents, the Department directed porIsabel Garcia, determined the reduction of 10 percent in vehicle tax, just as a bonus of 50 percent is also finalized for vehicles over 30 years and another 100 percent for vehicles over 40 years and historical.

This decrease in the tax falls on fiscal policy undertaken by the municipal government to facilitate the payment of taxes, adding to initiatives such as the Custom Payment Plan, completed already and will continue in the coming years.

The plan allows taxpayers to split the payment of taxes like the Property Tax (IBI);

Tax on motor vehicles and the rate for Fords or driveways across sidewalks (stepping stone), with the option of adding the amount of the three and fraccionarlos together.

A total of 554 residents have welcomed a move that will allow them to cope with annual receipts up to nine installments between February and October.

To pay the IVTM, citizens can do so electronically through the Electronic Office of the Autonomous Agency for collection management Cartagena (OAGRC) which also offers other forms of payment.
