The Minister of Public Works and Infrastructures, Francisco Barnabas, will be honored with the Gold Badge Club Taurino of Cartagena for having merged the contest of Cante de las Minas de La Union with the art of bullfighting during his previous political career as mayor The Union.

The award recognizes the commitment made by Barnabas to merge two cultural traditions, bullfighting and flamenco.El president of the organization taurine Cartagena, Manuel Sanchez, today informed the director of the unanimous decision of the members of the Club last December 19th, 2015.

The award ceremony will be held on March 12 at the Auditorium of the Batel of Cartagena.

This event will also serve to recognize the good work of bullfighting professionals and personalities for the world of the bull.
