The sport continues to show its solidarity face with acts like the one held today, March 3, at Polytechnic laUniversidad of Cartagena in which representatives athletic club La Manga have been delivered to the collection of profits in last year's Cross of Cabo de Palos.
The amount donated is 5,000 euros that have been distributed among five entities charitable.
Associations that have received 1,000 euros each, are ASID Cartagena, San Javier Caritas, the Spanish Association Against Cancer, the Sisters of the Poor and FEDAES (Project Stop-Fa).
Isaac Peral Hall of Faculty of Business has welcomed the delivery of the check solidarity which was attended by the Councillor for Sports City of Cartagena, Segado Ricardo and his counterpart in the City of San Javier, Carlos Albaladejo.
The mayor of Sports of Cartagena has been very pleased that solidarity like this, according Segado, give more value if it fits the world of sports events are performed.
He also thanked those responsible for the athletics club of La Manga and sponsors for their great work in organizing the event and highlighted the role private companies play in the sponsorship of sporting events and the benefits that they get to link the image your company to the sport.
