The professor of information and communications technology Pastor Juan Angel Franco, was elected director of the School of Telecommunications Engineering (ETSIT) of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) today
Pastor has received the support of 46.8% of the members of the Board of Central Voters in the first round and 53.3% in the second round.
A Pastor Juan Angel Franco accompany him on his management team: Toledo Moreo Rafael Maria Moncayo, José Rosique Francisca Rodriguez and Victor Contreras.
The new director teaches at the UPCT since 2000. Previously was director of its Department.
Juan Angel Pastor belongs to the research group Systems Division and Electronic Engineering (DSIE) and is an expert in programming languages ​​and real-time systems.
The elected director has stated that its priorities include improving teaching quality of all grades given by the ETSIT, boosting relations between the school and industry and work for the employability of graduates.
These elections have attended three candidates, led by professors Juan Angel Pastor, José Luis Gómez Tornero and Fernando Cerdan.
