On Thursday March 3 will be a series of meetings with Illustrator Emilio Urbearuaga students 3 and 4 years of college The Trough, Vicente Medina and Sacred Heart in Municipal Libraries, which will bring Seemed Animals (Anaya).
The work deals with animals that live in the jungle or in cities;
some are unfriendly, others are outgoing, some are very similar to each other, others not so much, there are shapes and sizes diferentes¿ but what they have in common jungle animals and animal city is sharing the same home: Earth .
At 9.30 pm there will be the first meeting at the Children 's Library Cultural Center Ramón Alonso Luzzy school with 50 students the trough. At 11:00 hours will be the turn of the 60 students of Vicente Rubio Rafael Medina in the library, closing the round of meetings at 12.15 in the same place with 25 Sacred Heart school students.
Emilio Urberuaga was born in Madrid in 1954, and worked as a stamper and recorder before turning to the illustration of children 's books.
His work, full of fantasy and humor, is a national and international reference in the field of illustration. In Anaya has published, among others, Marina, Pen and cap, of which he is also author of the text and several titles written by Daniel Nesquens, including Anaya won the VII Prize for Literature for Children and Youth l: man with wild hair.
In 2011 he was awarded the National Illustration Award for his body of work.
