documentary series 'Roman Engineering', which includes the Roman Theatre in Cartagena, has been selected as a finalist in the International Festival of Television and Film in New York.
The documentary takes part in this contest in the category of 'art' and can access a summary of the report on the website of RTVE.
Spanish co-production of TV, and Structuralia DIGIVISION focuses on the challenges faced Roman engineers to raise their colossal works.
Participation in this documentary was one of the activities of the Foundation Teatro Romano Cartagena within their cultural promotion.
The Director General of Cultural Property and member of the board of the Foundation, Maria Comas, said that "this important nomination is a new opportunity for the public, not only in Spain but worldwide, discover the city of Cartagena and Teatro Romano, one of our heritage jewels whose museum is the most visited throughout the Region of Murcia ".
The documentary, directed by José Antonio Muniz and presented by Isaac Moreno, was released last October with an audience of 1.3 million.
The series has also generated the first project 'transmedia', to include videos of virtual and augmented reality Lab of RTVE.es.
