Students in the course of Folklore of Cartagena, visited on Friday 19 February and the Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of Socorro Real.
This activity, organized by the Department of Social Services for the elderly is done to commemorate the 325 anniversary of its founding.
To begin the visit, Antonio Legaz Martinez, steward of the brotherhood, he told the students the foundation of the brotherhood that ran to load the Duke of Veragua, Pedro Manuel Colon de Portugal, General Captain of the Royal Galleys of Spain in Cartagena, in 1691.
This foundation is attributed to the miracle of the son of the Duke of Veragua. Antonio Legaz, he told the students the story of the brotherhood to this day.
Students also visited the large tile, the largest in Spain, located in the Plaza San Ginés that c onmemora the miracle of the son of the Duke and is located in front of the house of the Dukes of Najera was the family home when it happened this fact.
Finally, the students visited the church of Santo Domingo image of the Christ of Socorro and Virgen de la Soledad del Consuelo.
