44 students Lunardi Italian Institute of Brescia, Lombardy, Cartagena have come to learn Spanish and learn more about their heritage and culture.
This initiative to promote the Spanish language arises in Cartagena Foundation for Teaching Language and Spanish Culture (Funcarele) with the City of Cartagen to and UPCT.
For one week, students will know the rich archaeological heritage of Cartagena, thus approaching the historical connection he has with the Roman world.
Welcome to the city took place in the Faculty of Business of the UPCT (formerly CIM) by Deputy Mayor, Ana Belén Castejon, Councillor of Greater Culture, Ricardo Segado, and the president of Funcarele, Miguel Martinez, with the assistance of Isacco Zanola, professor of Spanish in Italy, Gianluigi Dotti, a professor of Italian Language and Literature.
Deputy Mayor has highlighted the importance of these students know our three millennium old city and can be transmitters in every corner of the world, we can show off our multiculturalism and help us to promote our tourism, our culture and so much wealth and potential as has our Cartagena.
Funcarele president, Miguel Martínez, said that the purpose of the grant is to bring students from around the world when they are here are the best ambassadors of our city and make Cartagena projected abroad, sustainable tourism, high dinaminza added value and society as a whole.
From Lunardi Institute wished to thank the initiative once again, with the intention that students enjoy studying, improving the language and knowing the city. These 44 students have been invited to continue studying Spanish and has informed scholarship to which they may choose to study Tourism in the city. in the coming weeks another 17 students arrive in Cartagena center.
