Fellows of the Chair Telefónica-UPCT have developed in the last six months technological business ideas today have exposed their business projects to a jury of Talentum Telecommunication Company program.
The five students from the Polytechnic University of Cartagena have created platforms for data analysis, educational games and gift recommendations and travel.
The business idea most valued by representatives of the company and the University compete in the national phase Telefonica Talentum Startups program.
The jury is comprised Angel Lloret, regional director of Telefonica;
Jaime Angulo, head of Talentum Startup Telefonica;
Juan Carlos Romero, Head of Presales of Telefonica in Murcia;
Jose Victor Rodriguez, director of the School of Telecommunications;
Juan David Reverte, representative of the Association of Telecommunications Engineers of the Region of Murcia, Rafael Toledo, director of the Department of Telefónica.
The five projects
Laura Navarro has devised a platform game for children between 3 and 5 years old learn cultural elements from different parts of the world through minigames country.
In the same playful-didactic line, Juan Pablo Navarro has created a website to encourage student participation in the Virtual Classroom of the University, improving motivation through academic rewards.
Juan Aznar has launched a social network to find friends, family or colleagues or class detrabajo who visited the places from which the user wants to obtain reliable advice.
It also is designed to find recommendations applying Juan Benito Pacheco, Gifty, where users share ideas and purchases can serve as inspiration for gifts of others.
Finally, Francisco Miguel Rodriguez has developed a web of data processing that allows users, professionals and small businesses to visually and ordered the product of the sheer volume of data generated by new technologies.
