Thursday took place in the classrooms of the building of La Milagrosa a meeting of the working groups of the Municipal Prevention and Plan of Action on Drug Dependence (PMAD).
The call was aimed at re-launching these working groups since 2012 had not met the last Municipal Drug Addiction Plan is the period 2008 -. 2012 and had been extended without updating.
The idea is to develop one better and get it going in May.
For this purpose the members of the working groups have taken a draft provided by the technicians of the Department of Social Services to be reflected in the same proposals they deem appropriate.
Once prepared the final draft to the Municipal Commission for approval and implementation, after approval by the Board of Local Government will be sent. This new Plan will biennial (2016/18) in order to make a thorough study data and to know the real and current state of drug addiction in Cartagena and Shire.
The working groups are made ​​up of professionals from the departments of Social Services and Social Mediation, Education, Youth, Gender, Culture, Sports, Public Safety, Local Employment Agency, Youth Council, representatives of the groups in the Huertecica Federation Associations of Parents, Family Action, Drug Addicts Care Center of the Ministry of Health, Torre Nazareth, Red Cross, Association of Parents against Drugs, Prevention and Treatment for Drug Addicts, Catholic Confederation of Parents of Students, unions represented in the city of Cartagena, San Pedro Asylum Shop Foundation, Center for Psychology of the Navy, Federation of Neighborhood Associations and District of Cartagena, Diagram Foundation, Center for Mental Health, Primary Care Association INSALUD and another step.
