Facilities at the La Manga Consortium welcomed yesterday, Wednesday, February 17, the meeting between the mayor of Cartagena, Jose Lopez and the mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo, to establish the main priorities in the work to promote consistories the development of La Manga.
Lopez has been very satisfied with the course of the meeting where the bases were established to work together in improving the solution.
In addition, the mayors have been summoned to another meeting with a more technical profile where different departments to start working and in order to reduce costs will meet.
In this effort to reduce costs, the mayor of Cartagena, claimed the need for the Autonomous Region back to join the Consortium of La Manga, and thus contribute financially to, according to Lopez, redo things in La Manga and solve the silting problem of human suffering by poor tourism planning its inception.
