The deadline to participate in the traditional ceremony and after the parade, which takes place on Good Friday, will remain open until March 11, and can make entries in the Department of Culture, located on Calle San Miguel
As is tradition every Good Friday, this March 18 will be held in Cartagena wreath to the patron saint of the city, the Virgin of Charity event organized by the Department of Festivities to coordinate spontaneous participation Cartagena, first in the parade po r the streets of the city center and then in the offering in the Basilica of Charity.
On this occasion, it has opened the registration period until 11 March for all associations and groups that wish to participate, which is reminded to do Cartagena dressed in traditional costume.
Candidates must register with the Department of Culture located at the administrative building, Calle San Miguel in August, 1st floor, in person, by fax or by email to festejos@ayto-cartagena.es
Same deadline of March 11, is designated for the bands of bugles and drums or any other musical groups who want to integrate in the parade.
As for people who want to participate they do not belong to associations, may also be directed to the Department within the aforementioned period for placement in the group, representing the City of Cartagena, close the courtship.
Mayor, Plaza de San Sebastián, Puerta de Murcia, Sagasta, Tolosa Latour: prior to the offering s and concentrate on the Town Hall Square at 16:30 hours, leaving at 17:00, and run along the following route parade Carmen, Santa Florentina, Park Plaza López Pinto, Merganser and Basilica of Charity.
As regards the Offering, as last year, along with baskets of flowers, bouquets will be placed in brackets for this purpose installed on both sides of the entrance of Charity.
This can be done throughout the day whether or not participating in the parade.
