Students at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) have today received diplomas accrediting them as beneficiaries of grants awarded by the Santander Foundation to complete their training in higher education.
It has also been credited to the scholarship in the field of international mobility Iberoamericana and Doctorate Degree.
Santander has provided over the last year 40 scholarships to students of the UPCT in the categories of excellence, additional training and initiation in research.
Among the beneficiaries is Alberto Perez, who received funding from this entity for an internship in a company in which Chemical Engineering was researching hydrogen fuel cells.
"It is gratifying to be able to apply theoretical knowledge in practice and see concrete results," says Miriam Gonzalez also woodcock, which develops technology projects at the Center for Production of Digital Contents of the UPCT, which was financed by Santander.
The vice chancellors of Information Technology and Communications, Mathieu Kessler;
Economic and Strategic Planning, Emilio Trigueros, Internationalization, Jose Manuel Ferrandez, and manager of the University, Carmen Alcaraz, were highlighted during the ceremony the permantente support from Santander to Cartagena Polytechnic and have congratulated the scholarship students , valuing their talent and effort.
The ceremony of credentials was also attended by Beatriz Villegas, director of university area offices;
Julio Sanchez, director of the office on campus and José María García de los Rios, director of Santander Universities Spain Conventions on behalf of the bank.
By the University also attended by the heads of the Department of Santander Entrepreneurship, Domingo Perez de Lema and Mario Rosique, and the coordinator of the Center for Production of Digital Content (CPDC), Juan Luis Pedroza.
