Our city has a historical, artistic and monumental legacy for over two thousand years ago, but can not forget the cultural richness offered by the field and the District of Cartagena;
a heritage that should not be missed and that is very attractive. Thus began the talk by Javier Lorente against a good number of older classroom building La Milagrosa.
Thanks to the Department of Social Services is celebrating the workshop A walk through the history of Cartagena: their traditions and customs, within its program for seniors.
This time, the title of the conference was Javier Lorente, graduated in philology and Rural League Deputy Secretary of Campo de Cartagena, which focused on valuing the rich cultural heritage of the Campo de Cartagena.
For two hours, he explained details and information about this heritage through buildings such as the monastery of San Ginés de la Jara or Windmills, authentic hallmarks of Cartagena;
and various houses, cisterns or wells.
The workshop was tried dozens of photographs to illustrate the explanations and generate public and institutional awareness of the historical heritage of the municipality.
