The Governing Council has approved a grant of 79,000 euros to the Joint Centre for National University of Distance Education (UNED) of Cartagena, to assist in the financing of equipment, installation and infrastructure necessary to replace the central air conditioning unit.

This assistance is part of the program of improvements in the conditions of the university community at the center, and is complementary to the annual grant this year awarded to UNED amounting to 319,786 euros for the Associated Center of Cartagena, with a two percent increase over last year, and 137,000 euros for the extension of Lorca, Caravaca and Yecla, the same amount as in 2009.
