Merchants and residents of the Plaza del Rey suffer again some remodeling work.
A fence started 2 weeks ago, and apparently works that do not start, keeps residents and visitors access to one of the most symbolic places in Cartagena.
Again the local government boasts of a lack of foresight and logic in local projects.
This time, they have to suffer the neighbors and merchants in the Plaza del Rey.
Plaza two years ago suffered a complete revamp, which was opened to "hype" by the municipal corporation.
UPyD-Cartagena has received numerous complaints from neighbors because of the unjustifiable delay in the commencement of work.
What right assists the council to deny the enjoyment of a public square for a month, if the works do not start?.
There is a children's play area, children have no access.
Not to mention the innkeepers in the area, who are with the outcry, because of the economic damage their already impoverished income.
Currently, some of these fences have been opened or torn down by the wind, giving a terrible image of the square.
What kind of organization is this, to permit the contractor to place a fence, if you are not starting work in a very short period of time?.
Since we demand that the municipality UPyD solvent this nonsense that adversely affects the daily lives of residents, traders and gives a lamentable visitors to our city.
