The regional government has invested 400,000 euros in improving homes in the streets of Europe and the Plaza of Human Rights, which has also been remodeled
The Minister of Public Works and Planning, José Ballesta, today visited the Virgin of Charity neighborhood of Cartagena, where the Institute for Housing and Land in the Region of Murcia (IVS) has completed the rehabilitation of several housing advocacy groups public within the Repair Plan.

The works have affected 112 homes in the Plaza of Human Rights, which has also been remodeled with new flooring, lighting and installation of new street furniture, as well as 58 properties located in the street Greece.

José Ballesta said that "the work has involved a total investment of 400,000 euros from the Institute of Housing and Lands within the Repair Plan, which have already been rehabilitated 900 houses of public promotion in the municipalities of Cartagena, La Union, Caravaca de La Cruz, Cehegín, Cieza, Molina de Segura and Puerto Lumbreras.
Water savings of up to 40 percent
Moreover, the Minister announced that within the Repair Plan 2 will be conducting further work in several group homes in Cartagena public advocacy, with an investment of 240,000 euros.
"Among the actions to be carried out include the installation of water saving systems, which will reduce consumption by up to 40 percent," said José Ballesta.
