Local Police of the City of Cartagena had between 7 and 13 June a series of intensive monitoring for checking various aspects of the use of motorcycles.
The initiative is framed within a national campaign has deployed the Traffic Department in collaboration with other municipalities.
Among others, it was to check compliance with speed limits, driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, overtaking, helmet use, mandatory insurance and vehicle inspection (ITV).
During these days the local police has been controlled to 731 motorcycles and 27, has denounced them.
The main reasons were to have expired ITV (10), lack of compulsory insurance (8) or not wearing a helmet (3).
