From 26 June to 17 July, the town celebrates its patron saint Galifa in honor of the Virgen del Carmen, featuring the collaboration of the council of Celebrations of the City of Cartagena.
The program is made up of the usual sports and competitions and workshops for children, without forgetting the dances, musical performances and other popular events.
These celebrations highlight the concentration of lace makers Galifa Virgen del Carmen on Thursday 1 July.
On Sunday July 4 will be the night of friends with an evening enlivened by Pepe Marquez Cuco.
On Thursday July 15 will be a great evening Trovera sponsored by the City of Cartagena.
On Friday 16 July, Feast of Carmen, the main events will be held in honor of the patron and that includes the traditional wake, a meal of fellowship and a procession, to finish the evening with a grand ball.
On Saturday July 17th activities will close with a dance and a final fireworks.
