Cartagena Firefighters were inspected during the last hours a total of 40 fires installed in different areas of town to celebrate the traditional Noche de San Juan.
The relationship of these fires has been prepared by complaints from neighbors and local police itself, to disregard the safety standards required.
Firefighters also visited places where other years have been assembled incorrectly fires: less than 15 meters of trees or houses, or under power lines.
As a result of this inspection and supported by the municipal shovels, five fires have been removed, including the Avenida Andalucía in the valley, the Camino Viejo de Pozo Estrecho (behind the Citroen) and next to the school of El Bohio.
Have also been relocated to safer places and ten other environments have been cleaned to prevent the spread of fire through stubble
The inspection work will last until eight at night approximately.
