Four of them have criminal records for drug trafficking and against property
The Civil Guard has had the support of the local police in Cartagena
The Guardia Civil and local police in Cartagena during last night established a large police presence in connection with a shooting at a farm in the hamlet El Palmero - Cartagena which has led to the arrest of four people involved in the incident and attributed another.
On the last midnight, the Guardia Civil has learned that in a farm located in the hamlet El Palmero Cartagena a clash had occurred between several of them resulting three gunshot wounds.
Civil Guard officers and local police in Cartagena have moved quickly to the scene starting the research process for this class of criminal offenses.
Firstly it has conducted a thorough technical and ocular inspection in order to obtain all possible evidence that can guide research to clarify the criminal act, which among other effects have seized firearms allegedly used.
In the first investigation carried out shows that the three people wounded, including two Algerian and one Moroccan nationality, broke into the interior of the property using masks and carrying heavy objects.
People who were inside the farm, a Spanish national, realizing the presence of the first allegedly shot at them, causing injuries of varying degrees, having to be attended by health professional.
Then we have proceeded to the arrest of four people and charging another, involved in these crimes, including three alleged perpetrators of the crime of robbery is attempted and two other alleged perpetrators of the crime of manslaughter attempted and illegal possession of weapons.
Of the five people involved in these crimes, four have a criminal record for crimes against property and drug trafficking.
The investigation is still open to fully clarify the facts so are not ruled out further action.
