Continuing the promotion of the city, the City of Cartagena has launched a tourism campaign for summer which has contracted with a commercial AVE 20 seconds, with two passes per itinerary in circuits reach half than 840,000 passengers.
Thus, during the first half of June, the Cantabrian ALVIA offered ad 720 passes in 24 ALVIA to and return from Madrid to Valladolid, Gijón, Santander, Bilbao, Irun, Lion and Hendaye.
In addition, from June 16 to July 15 4-speed trains make the trip to Madrid-Valladolid 1680 show passes.
These two circuits ALVIA Ave Biscay and Valladolid, have an average of 240,000 passengers per month, which aims to reach with this campaign in the city of Cartagena.
On the other hand, some 3480 tourist spot passes over the city can be seen on the same days from 16 June to 15 July in the AVE of Aragon and Catalonia, a total of 58 trains per day of which 52 have Madrid-Barcelona target, two Madrid-Zaragoza, Huesca and Madrid two two Madrid-Tarragona.
This circuit has an average of 600,000 passengers per month.

Apart from the tourism promotion campaign in the trains, has also launched another promotional initiative in Almeria and the Costa del Levante, an influx of tourism area very close to Cartagena which allows swords of a day.
For this reason the City has hired buses from Almeria, a sign with a picture of the Roman Theatre, which will be in vehicles during the months of June, July and August.
Also, in Vera, Garrucha and Mojacar, 20 marquees will be distributed from 15 June to 15 September and in Torrevieja, a hamlet that too many tourists arrive on the Alicante coast, there will be 7 marquees during the months of July and August.
