On Friday, June 18, will take office at the Palace Hall 15 new firefighters, who will join the staff of the Service for Fire Fighting and Rescue Services of the City of Cartagena.
The event will take place at 13 pm in the ceremonial hall and will be chaired by the Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, along with the aldermen of Public Safety, Javier Herrero, and Finance and Personnel, José Cabezas.
The 15 new firefighters and conclude a long selection process, which began in September 2009 and attended by 574 opponents.
After the opposition stage were 18, which are those of January 2010 and for four months have been conducting a training period consisting of 600 hours theoretical-practical in matters as diverse as social sciences, individual protection, first aid , miscellaneous tools, building and structures, driving trucks and chemical risks, among others.
Of these 18, 15 have obtained the highest scores are those who will take office on Friday, accompanied by family and friends, and eventually occupy the vacancies in the staffing of this service, consisting of one hundred troops.
