Brigade Staff Parks and Gardens of the City of Cartagena and the FCC have retired general contractor in the early hours of this morning the five trees that threw down a tornado recorded in the afternoon on Tuesday in the Paseo de las Delicias and wharf in the district of Santa Lucia.
The weather phenomenon occurred about four p.m. coinciding with an episode of heavy rain.
On Paseo de las Delicias strong gusts of wind knocked a melia and poplar, and seriously damaged the other eight branches Melia.
The wind also dropped the balustrade of a plumbing store and three vehicles were hit by falling branches, as part of the intervention of firefighters.
Pier on the promenade, opposite the yacht club, the tornado threw two tipuanas and a poplar tree, seriously injuring two other tipuanas.
