The occupational workshop Barrios-ADLE program, which for three months has been developed in Pozo Estrecho, Cabo de Palos and Marfagones Mills, ended last June 14, resulting in a considerable improvement in the appearance of key sites These neighborhoods of Cartagena.
Participating students received their diploma, certifying the training, this morning at the Ceremonial Hall of the Town Hall. The presentation of diplomas will be attended by the Councillor for Employment, Ruth Collins and the Director of the Local Development Agency and Employment, Francisco García-Valenzuela.
With this program, the Agency of Local Development and Employment aims to bring the actions being carried out in training and employment to the neighborhoods of Cartagena, thus facilitating the unemployed a series of orientation and training activities to improve their chances employability.
For the month of October, the Agency of Local Development and Employment of Cartagena will continue working in other districts and neighborhoods of Cartagena.
For three months, persons enrolled in the program that manages the Agency of Local Development and Employment have received counseling for active job search and training in bricklaying, painting and gardening, performing in the neighborhoods mentioned, thus contributing to their improvement.
Occupational During the workshop, in which the students have received a grant of 10 euros per day of attendance, there have been activities such as:
Mills Marfagones: fix multiple sidewalks, arrangements Puerto Paniza Square and the placement of benches in front of the Municipal Sports Pavilion Mills.
Pozo Estrecho: activity of masonry, painting and landscaping at the Plaza Mayor and painted Women's Association.
