The capacity restrictions and strict security measures meant that a total of 8,612 people could enjoy, in person, a different Museum Night, but full of cultural activities.

The Cartagena City Council also disseminated the virtual visits through social networks, with a follow-up of 62,649 people and a total of 15,859 visits to the Museum Night website. The Councilor for Youth, David Martínez Noguera, has been very proud of the success of the event and recalled that “with the extension of the hours and the number of activities throughout the day, crowds were avoided and guaranteed security measures". Regarding the museum spaces that have had a greater number of visits, the Roman Theater with more than 1,000 people, the Arqua with 830, the Naval Museum with 686, the new Museum of the Roman Forum with 642 visits and the Isaac Peral room with 640. Also the routes and guided tours have had a great acceptance among the public and 772 people participated in them.

It should be remembered that in this XIII edition from 10 in the morning to 10 at night, a total of 40 activities could be enjoyed distributed among 19 museum spaces, 7 spaces of interest, 7 municipal exhibition rooms, 3 art galleries, 14 routes through the city and 6 activities for children. The mayor thanked “the entire Youth Council team for the great work they have done, as well as the rest of the councils that have made it possible and, of course, the 180 volunteers who have participated this year, because among all have made this Museum Day, despite being different, a very special experience ”.
