| The SEF collaborates with this free labor orientation program that helps its participants to reactivate their job search with new techniques and appropriate tools to the labor market | A total of 29 unemployed people, 22 women and seven men between 18 and 57 years old, participate from this week in the new 'Shuttle Connects Employment' of Cartagena to reactivate and optimize their job search with new techniques and tools according to the new working market.
This labor orientation program, which is completely free, is promoted by the Santa María La Real Foundation and the Telefónica Foundation, with the collaboration of the Ministry of Employment, Research and Universities, through the Regional Employment and Training Service (SEF) .
In addition, it is co-financed by the European Social Fund, within the Poises program.
The 'Shuttle Connects Employment' of Cartagena, which will be active until August, will be developed entirely in online format.
In these virtual sessions, participants will receive guidance and advice from specialized technicians who will help them design a comprehensive job search plan and focus on their professional goal.
The general director of the SEF, Marisa López Aragón, expressed her satisfaction with the launch of this new 'Shuttle Connects Employment' in the Region of Murcia, since "the good results obtained in other editions show that it is an effective platform to improve the future of work for job seekers in an ever-changing job market.
" In this way, your participants will learn, for example, to update their CV with new programs and to gain confidence to successfully face a job interview.
They will also reinforce their transversal competences and digital skills, they will learn to use the 'smartphone' and social networks to seek employment and they will contact companies in search of their employment.
