| A plan for optimizing resources and digitization aims to guarantee transparency, promote free competition and speed up the processing of files | The Contracting Board has added this Wednesday a milestone in the municipal administration with its first 100% electronic heritage tender, in the procedure for the concession of the tourist train service in Cartagena.

With this step, the Heritage Service joins the 21st century by digitizing the entire process, which will further guarantee the transparency of the processes, promote free competition and achieve greater agility in the processing of files. This progress is part of a Plan for the Optimization of Resources and Digitization that has been launched by the delegate councilor for Procurement and Heritage, María Amoraga, and which intends that both services, basic for the Administration, are updated to cover the rest of municipal areas.

"These are two fundamental services in which most of the municipal needs are processed, so we must adapt to the new times offering all the guarantees," said the mayor. Regarding this update, the councilor has highlighted that the Recruitment Service was the first in the Region of Murcia to hold its tables electronically -and one of the pioneers at the national level- during the state of alarm decreed as a result of the health crisis .

"With the incorporation of the heritage bidding procedures into the electronic system, we are taking a further step in transparency, starting the path to optimizing services and achieving greater efficiency in public spending and resources," said María Amoraga. TOURIST TRAIN Regarding the matters dealt with today in the Contracting Table, the administrative and technical reports of the offers have been opened and classified for the public concession for lots for the tourist train service, which follows its procedure.

Three companies have presented themselves, and all of them attend the two batches.
