One of the main technical characteristics of the new vehicles is that they all comply with the Euro 6 standard, which limits the emission of polluting gases into the atmosphere. In addition to these six passenger cars, 6 BMW motorcycles with a displacement of 7.40, 4 Ford Kuga Euro 6.2 micro-hybrid SUVs and 2 crowded vans that are being adequately equipped and furnished have been purchased, in which the City Council has invested a total of 486,000 euros . “The rest of the new vehicles will be in service very soon and, little by little, we will continue to renovate the local police car park.
With this, we will achieve not only that our agents have the best possible equipment, but we will also help reduce polluting emissions in Cartagena ”, explained the mayor.
