| The new online training platform will serve to guarantee the training of municipal employees during this health crisis | The Municipal Training Commission, made up of the councilor for the Finance, New Technologies and Interior Government Area, Esperanza Nieto, the general director of Public Employment, José Serrano, the head of Human Resources, Emilia García, the Head of Training, Antonio Mula, training technicians and the representatives of the CCOO, SIME, UGT and CSIF unions, have unanimously approved the proposal for the 2021 Training Plan for employees of the City Council and its autonomous bodies. In addition, the City Council's new on-line training platform has been presented, which will facilitate training for municipal employees.
For the Councilor for Finance and Personnel, Esperanza Nieto, "the new platform represents an important qualitative leap as it includes for the first time online training actions with a platform of the Cartagena City Council that covers training content and opens and brings even more the training possibilities for all municipal employees, making it accessible at any time and from anywhere, and not only from municipal employees' jobs ”. The approved Training Plan designs training based on competencies (abilities or skills and technical knowledge), which will allow the development of future training itineraries linked to the different jobs.
In addition, it contemplates new training modalities with respect to previous plans (online training, training video tutorials, training in videoconferencing system), prioritizing training through virtual platforms. In this Training Plan, with a budget of 135,000 euros, a total of 166 training actions have been planned.
All this supposes a total workload of 2,341 hours of training.
28 types of guided practices are also collected for the personnel of the fire fighting service, which represents a total of 140 programmed practices and 420 hours of guided practices for them.
