| The project, which has a budget of 381,568 euros, affects the Avenida de la Constituci�n, and the streets of San Juan, Sierra de G�dor, Sierra de Gata, Sierra de la Iguana and San Isidro | The works for the expansion of the El Albuj�n rainwater network are already underway.

At the beginning of this month, the works began to install the new pvc collectors both in the Avenida de la Constituci�n, and in the adjacent streets, San Juan, Sierra de G�dor, Sierra de Gata, Sierra de la Iguana and San Isidro. This project has an award budget of 381,568.77 euros, which will be financed out of the surplus of the water concession company and has an execution period of four months. The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Bel�n Castej�n, recalled that these works constitute the definitive solution to the floods that the residents of this town have suffered for decades.

The works consist of the placement of: - 400-millimeter collectors to be installed in Sierra de G�dor, Sierra de Gata, Sierra de la Iguana and San Isidro streets. - Collector with a diameter of 800 millimeters on Avenida de la Constituci�n. - Collector with a diameter of 1000 millimeters to be executed on the west bank of the N-301 road with a variable depth that flows into the bed of a small boulevard that crosses the road in the southern area of ??El Albujï ¿½n. SANITATION WORK IN SANTA ANA AND POZO ESTRECHO Likewise, in Santa Ana the removal work of the old septic tank is already nearing completion, to which, until now, the wastewater from the �pices store and from several houses in Santa Ana had been town, which is being replaced by a collector and has a budget of 85,630.94 euros. Also in the final phase of execution in Pozo Estrecho, the sanitation network of several streets in the town that were made of fiber cement is being renewed.

Given that to renew this network they had to lift the asphalt and most of the sidewalks, the technical direction of the City Council has chosen to gain space for pedestrians, turning some of these streets into semi-pedestrianized areas.
