| The works begin this week and will last three months, although it will not involve a cut in vehicle traffic | The San Juan Bosco de Los Dolores avenue will be undergoing works to make improvements to the sanitation and water supply network.
The works are carried out by the municipal concessionaire of the drinking water supply service, Hidrogea, as reported by the councilor of the Infrastructure Area, Mar�a Casaj�s Casaj�s has reported that the works will start this Wednesday, January 20 and will last for three months.
They mainly affect the direction of descent towards Cartagena from San Juan Bosco avenue.
It will not be necessary to carry out traffic cuts, although there are specific interruptions in some of the avenue sections, with alternative passage, so the circulation of vehicles will slow down ½. In this case, Hidrogea will install a new sewage collector, which will run along Subida al Plan street from the intersection with R�o Ebro street to the intersection with San Juan Bosco avenue.
The previous collector will also be extended, with a new line that will go down the avenue from the junction with Subida al Plan and Suspiro street. In addition, another new collector will be built, which will run along Suspiro Street, as well as three more at the intersections of San Juan Bosco Avenue with Subida al Plan, Paraguay and Ecuador streets.
Finally, scuppers will be installed to improve the collection of surface runoff. On the other hand, the replacement of the current drinking water supply pipes by a new network with ductile cast iron pipes is planned.
In total, it involves the renovation of 381 linear meters of pipes at the intersection of San Juan Bosco avenue with Subida al Plan and Conesa Calder�n streets, as well as on the Ecuador roads, Paraguay and Montagut.
