The works are being carried out by the municipal concessionaire of the potable water supply service, Hidrogea. The tasks began last week and require cutting vehicle traffic until this Wednesday, January 20.
Although, the work will last about two months.
The action consists of replacing a section of pipe of about 72 linear meters by another of greater diameter. The left bank branch, which is currently made of fiber cement, will also be replaced by a ductile cast iron branch.
This circumstance will be used to renovate the sidewalks and asphalt in the affected section of Calle Mayor.
Thus, more than 300 linear meters of curb and 381 square meters of sidewalk will be replaced.
